Who are we looking for

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with solid experience in designing, automating, and managing application platforms and processes in complex environments.

We are seeking a curious individual who is passionate about technology and driven by continuous improvement, capable of collaborating with Development, Operations, Data, and Architecture teams to ensure the reliability, security, observability, and scalability of our solutions.

Responsibilities/Sprecific functions

The selected candidate will join the Operations team and contribute to both daily activities and forward-looking projects. Specifically, they will be responsible for:

  • CI/CD & Containerization: Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and containerized environments with Docker.

  • Automation & Security: Automating tests, integration testing, quality checks, and vulnerability scanning.

  • Operations & Observability: Overseeing observability, secret management, backup/restore procedures, and operational runbooks.

  • Data Integration: Supporting ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and data flows based on JSON and JSON-LD.

  • Semantic & Data Management: Contributing to the management of triplestores, data mapping, identity, and data provenance.

  • Infrastructure Management: Administering Linux and cloud environments while optimizing them for security, reliability, and scalability.

Key Requirements

  • Core Experience: Solid experience in DevOps, Platform Engineer, SRE, or similar roles, alongside advanced proficiency in Linux.

  • CI/CD & Automation: Mastery of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, test automation, and integration testing.

  • Operations & Security: Hands-on experience with observability, secret management, backup/restore procedures, vulnerability scanning, and operational runbooks.

  • Data & API Standards: Practical knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, JSON, and JSON-LD.

  • Semantic Web Technologies: Experience with RDFLib, Apache Jena, or Eclipse RDF4J, as well as triplestores, data mapping, identity management, and data provenance.

  • Languages & AI Tools: Proficiency in English and familiarity with LLMs, AI technologies, and Copilot tools;

  • Passion for technological innovation and digital transformation.

Technical Requirements

  • Cloud & OS Platforms: Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, as well as Red Hat or SUSE distributions.

  • Architecture & IaC: Knowledge of Linux clusters, microservices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and configuration management.

  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

  • Production & Reliability: Hands-on experience in mission-critical production environments and incident response activities.
